Return/Exchange Policy
Essex Fine Jewelry & Watches DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR ISSUE REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON, however we do allow (1) exchange within 14 days of the purchase date. In the event you are dissatisfied with your item for any reason, we will allow you to exchange your item for an item of equal or greater value. Jewelry items can be exchanged for jewelry, and watches can be exchanged towards watches or jewelry. Jewelry cannot be exchanged towards a watch. All items must be accompanied by the original sales receipt.
An Essex Fine Jewelry & Watches associate must confirm the returned jewelry has not been damaged, or suffered excessive wear and tear during the 14-day period. All items must arrive back at ESSEX in their original condition.
Gem, Jewelry, & Accessory Disclosure
Gems may have been treated using industry standard methods such as diffusion, irradiation, heating, oiling or waxing. Jewelry, watches, diamonds, and handbags sold may qualify as “Estate Items” which have been professionally refurbished to “Like New” condition.
Special Orders and Custom Design
Special order items must be paid in full at time of purchase and are not eligible for return or exchange. Custom Design requires a non-refundable down payment of 50%, with the balance due at the completion of the project. Clients must approve or request alter of design at the completion of CAD and Wax stages. Permission to proceed without visual approval must be done by client in writing. Waving visual approval at any stage shall be considered acceptance of the product provided as is.
Lifetime Guarantee
All purchases will be provided with an insurance appraisal at no cost upon request. All jewelry items shall be cleaned and inspected with any needed repairs including sizing for the lifetime of the item at no cost. Repairs on watches are limited to external wear such as scratches to the bracelet and/or case only.
(Lifetime guarantee applies to normal wear on all jewelry items and does not apply to broken or chipped diamonds or gemstones. Watches requiring internal movement repairs or damage to crystal or bezel may require additional costs. Accessories are not covered under the above policies. Lifetime Guarantee applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferrable.)
Shipping Policy
Here at Essex Fine Jewelry and watches we are pleased to offer FedEx shipping directly to your door. Each piece is fully insured and inspected by our knowledgeable staff before being shipped to you. All shipments require an adult signature for delivery. The method of delivery is determined by the pre-tax total of your order, and shipping address. For items orders under $500 your items will be shipped FedEx Ground. Anything over $500 dollars is automatically updated to free 2-Day shipping. If you need your item faster, we can expedite your order for a small fee. If you require shipping to an APO, FPO, or DPO box your package will be shipped via USPS Registered Insured Mail. We do not, however, ship to PO Boxes, Freight Forwarders, and Mailbox Drop Locations.
